My "Door Ajar" RED Warning Lite stays "ON" with ALL DOORS CLOSED and Ignition Switch "ON" on my 2006 Freestar. It beeps for about 1-minute and comes back beeping after every brake pedal activation. Also, the driver side door always automatically UNLOCKS after I lock it. This is an intermittent problem which started when the weather was cold but is happening more and more now even above 70-degreesF. Can anybody help???

Spray some WD40 in the lock mechanisms, then open and close the doors a few times, that should take care of it.

WD40!!!!! I haven't used that in years.

Don't you just love how doors are 'a jar', yet the light should read 'door open'. Maybe in the future vehicles will be designed better too look like jars, for better aerodynamic properties. See, who said vehicle engineers aren't thinking 'a head'.
