I have a 1989 e-150 with a 302 and a metric trany. All at once it quit shifting in to 2 and 3 and OD. It will go into low fine and solid,It don't fell mushy in drive but will not shift to 2nd. It is solid in reverce. Trany fluid smells and looks fine. Don't make any noise.
Haven't rodded it or have been hard on it. All wires SEEM to be in place. I didn't know if there is a sencer or some thing that may be out. I don't know where to start.

after more review I see the trany will go in first but then when it should shift to scound you let up on the gas and it will free wheel. when you push on the gas and the rpms get up to the speed of the van then it will push the van again. If you drop it into low it will then shift down and act like any other car shifted in to low then shift it to secound and if you drop rpms it will free wheel. ANY HELP??
