I am not to sure if this is how or where i write stuff to get information or manual
about a 2004 Ford Freestar 4.2 litre
trying to find out how to do a tune up on it myself

First, you can go to the ford website and follow the link to the Ford Owner's Pages. Register yourself as an owner and you can download a lot of the owner's manuals and information there.
Then, get a Chilton's Manual for Ford Windstar/Freestar. You can go to the gearhead cafe (just google it) or to Amazon. I got mine at the local Autozone or Advanced Auto store. If they don't have it on the shelf, ask them and they can get it for you.
