Help Me with My Windstar!

I have asked many people but people just don't know!! Its a 2001 Ford Windstar SEL, the front passenger door (not the sliding door, says its ajar). (I have the dashboard thing that says whats going on with the car. Anyways we have replaced the door ajar switch but the problem still continues. When it is cold the car doesnt act up, but as the weather warms up the door says its open. This has presented alot of problems (the lights stay on when you close the door, i have to use the dimmer so no lights when exiting or entering the car at night). The car sometimes beeps when we go over bumps, and when you put the passenger window down the same thing happens (It beeps)..

Could it be a faulty LATCH?!
I know the door needs a new actuator but i doubt that's the problem.

The mechanic is going to murder us because he as taken that door apart like 3-4 times. To replace the door ajar switch and the window motor.

" i know the door needs a new actuator but i dought thats the problem ". what kind of thinking is that ? Replace the actuator and see what happends. Have them check the
wiring in the door's pass through.
