I will make a long story short, The other day Mother inlaw. Asked me to scan a check engine light code. I hooked up the scanner this code was P1537 : Intake Manafold Runner Control Stuck Open (Bank 1). Does anyone have a pic or a part location on this issue. I was told this a common issue on these 98 ford windstar Vans.

Any Idea's guys.

Its a 97 ford windstar with 3.8L V6.

thanks for your'e input, I got one of those hand vaccum pressure devices, Found the problem with this part.



There was two of these parts that are the same. Replaced the one with weak vaccum, cleared the check engine light, Problem gone.
