Hoping you all can help...

Our 2006 Freestar has had an intermittend problem with the left turn signal. Every so often, we'll get a quick signal and the message center with tell us to check left turn lamp. Sure enough, the left rear bulb is not flashing.

The problem is it doesn't happen all the time. Last night, it happened the whole time. I got up this morning to take it to the dealer (have 120 miles left in the warranty) and of course, it's not acting up. Dealer advised me to not leave it there, because with no problem, they'd just be hunting and that would become very expensive.

Anybody know of a TSB on this or something that would explain the issue???

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Dealership just called...

Brake light control module went bad. The replaced that, installed a new bulb, and reflashed some kind of software to reset codes. I don't understand it all, but van is fixed. We had 71 miles left on the original warranty...WHEW!!!
