confused knocking from intake manifold 2000 3.8l
Anyone have a clue why when I re-assembled the intake and started it up
the plastic guide inside the manifold seems to be knocking like its loose?

The two pieces did click together with the snap together

I did clean the inside of the intake manifold maybe I removed some greese

let me know if you have any hints

This is pretty common on 3.8 Windstars. I have been able to get some back together, others we had to replace the manifold plenum. The two piece design was flawed from the get go on this one.
