My 98 windstar goes from first to nothing
for the first few blocks of the morning, even after warming it up for a good ten minutes.I f it's sat for a while(5hrs. or over night) it does this. I just changed the fluid and filter ( no metal on the magnet), and the TRS
(nuetral safety switch). If I start in manual 2nd, and then shift to D
, it works fine, until it sits for a while(and cools down). I heard that after changing the TRS it may take some driving to re-train the PCM? does it work like this? do I have to reset the PCM? could it be another module , because it shifts fine otherwise and will even take a San Francisco hill without slipping. HELP!!
