G'day i've got a 91 ford econovan, dead stock 1.8 and i was just wondering what i could do to give it a bit more punch, i'm not lookin to spend a fortune but just ways to up its proformance that other members have found and is there somwhere that sells or makes body kits and clear tail lights for them, i've had it for 3 years and its time to give her a face lift

any help or advice would be great

hey, if you find any good info, try to inform me. I'm trying to do pretty much the same thing and it's hard finding what we need. i'm on every few days for a while. Maybe there's hope afterall.

i got a 83 econo and it has a windsor (lots of power) 351=power

I've got a '93 E2000 (ex courier van 749000 km and counting) and I know guys that have a 302 and a supercharged v6 from a commodore into theirs....As the saying goes there is no replacement for displacement get an engine from a E2000/2200/2400 they are all petrol and should bolt straight in or use the 2600 from the Bravo/Courier. Alternately go to an import wrecker and see what the Bongo van from the similar year has as they are usually low km and turbocharged
If memory serves me right the E series vans from 86-95 are essentially the same mechanically
