My 1998 WINDSTAR 3.8L, Check fuses, relays, ignition switch, bought new battery, had starter checked at advance auto parts. Have not checked battery cables though, Windstar will not start, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

The cables could be the problem. Have you tried in neutral?

Yeah, did try on neutral, no go

I'd check all of the connections. Did it just one day not crank? Can you jump it at the starter and have it crank?

I tried jump starting battery, but not starter, how do you that?

You connect a wire form the small terminal to the upper large terminal on the starter. The starter should crank.

Had a technician look at it, the engine was seized. Had to replace with another engine. Laters,
