Tranny engine timing.......
Hi all, Happy new year and all that.......... well, would be happier if the cambelt hadn't just gone on my van!
Which are the timing marks for the flywheel? There seems to be 2 holes in the flywheel that accept the peg, and unlike the older Transits they appear to both be the same size.
Looking at the end of the crankshaft where the sprocket fits on, there is a key to hold the sproket on. On one of the timing holes the key lines up at rouhly 1 o'clock, and the other hole is at 6 o'clock......... any ideas which one to use?!
Spose it would help if ya knew what engine it was........ its a 1997 2.5 diesel.
