01 Ford F150 Transmission trouble

Hey. I have a 2001 Ford F150. It's a 4.2L V6 5-speed manual transmission.
ok. So i got in it this morning and put it in reverse and it would go for about a foot or two, and it felt like it slipped out of gear. The shifter itself didn't slip out. So i put it into neutral and tried to push it backwards and it did the same thing. I have no idea what is going on. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely, Dustin.
