I am new to diesel and am having a problem w/ my f350 6.0 diesel. When driving on highway @ 110km/hr about 2000 rpm and slightly increase speed truck seems to lurch or surge but will increase speed w/ any more throttle applied. Did it 1st last fall w/ a trailer w/ 88 bales of straw good all winter and now that it is warm it has done acouple of times again but only after about an hour of highway driving. runs great all other times. Have it booked in @ dealer in saskatoon @ end of month but any help would be greatly appreciated. No oil usage and get 21mpg @ 110 k/hr. thanx wj

Just got back from 2nd dealer trip. The first time all checked ok and they cleaned egr valve. Sent me home and 1hr out it surges again. Next week take it back aand they test drive again but longer and it finally acts up for them then the egr valve dies. Turns out the sending unit in the egr valve that tells the comp. how open it is was intermittent. Drove 3.5 hrs home and seems to be good. Thanx to anyone who took time to read this and try to help.
