05 F150 Failsafe mode - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I have an 05 f150 that has gone into failsafe mode twice. When it does this the truck won't go over about 5mph. It does not cause the check engine light to come on. I took it to the local mechanic and he said no codes were showin up. I found a few people on other forums who claim that it is a computer error and Ford has some kind of patch for it. Any of yall heard of this? Checked everything I could and can't find anything wrong. It's got me goin nuts.

Go have the dealer reflash the ECM.

Get Rid Of The Pile Of Garbage Asap. Your Trannsmission Is Going To Take A Crap On You Next. Or Your Power Windows . Or The Shakes In The Stupid Motor. Or The Problems With The Electrical System. Ford Is A Bunch Of Lazy Assed Know Damn Well Their Product Is Going To Crap Out. Usuallly Right After The Warranty Expires.
Im Going After Them In Court And Making Them Compensate Me For The Repairs And Lost Wages And The Fights And The Arguements Withmy Wife Over Their Trash They Fool Everyone With. Good Luck.
