confused 05 F150 voltage SPIKES?????wtf is goin on
Hi, I have a 05 f150 2 wd stick 6 cyl that was stallin out and and haveing charging issues.... replaced the alternater... now its new, with new voltage reg and it fryed my battery, blew headlight bulbs... the volt meter on the dash spikes all the way up... Ford dealer is clueless... alternator reads correct voltage when tested at dealer... so some crazy somethin is goin on.... please comment if you have good knowledge twords fixing this issue as it has stumped many already.

Try running a ground wire from the alt. to the frame.
