I had both my batteries die today, and I replaced them. It ran good for couple of hours, until I noticed my in-dash voltage meter started falling again. Everything is reading 11.0 volts presently (batteries, alternator, & guage).

Could it be my alternator that needs replacing? Could that be the reason my batteries don't last? Or is it my Optima batteries someone suckered me into buying?

If it is my alternator, which I suspect, how simple to replace?

Anyone?

Sounds like the alt. Have it tested to verify before replacing.
