I have a '05 V10 SD, my question is has anyone else had idle problems with this motor? I use it as a canteen truck and once warm it starts fine(@35 X a day) I also have a Valet remote start, do not know if that is relevant or not, but first start of the day sometimes it will not "catch" the remote start only holds starter for a second or so,and if it don't start it tries again in 30 seconds or so. always starts right up second time though. when it does start first time in the AM, whether remotely or manually, it will idle really rough for 3-5 seconds ,then almost stall and then rev up and idle fine the rest of the day. I can't believe this is normal? any ideas? I have 1500 miles and have had nothing yet done to the motor, no oil changes yet, though @ at 2000.

Take that truck to the dealer for warranty issue. I checked TSB's for you (assuming it is an F-250 SD) and found nothing with your symptoms.

no hard feelings but i was saying is you went to tsb and i dont think tsb wants that hairdue hanging around there. thats all. But where do you live? Because im going to come down there and im going to touch your hairdue. ill pet and stroke that motha fk3r
