I have a 07 F150 automatic with a 4 wheel drive switch located on my front dash. The light shows I'm in 4x4 high but my engine runs in 4x4 low. I have put her in Nuetral with my foot on the brake, turned the switch out of 4 wheel drive, waited a few minutes then switched it back to 4 high. again the light says I'm in 4x4 high, but the engines runs like shes in 4x4 low... Can anyone offer any help?

Problem fixed! Put my truck in neutral, with my foot on the brake, switched the 4x4 off, backed up in reverse about half my street distance, came to a complete stop, put the truck into drive, turned the switch to 4x4 high, she drives like a champ! Driving in reverse while out of 4x4 seems to have done the trick.
