15,500 lb. Fifth Wheel

I was curious. I stopped by an RV lot and saw a huge toy-hauler fifth wheel that GBWR is about 15,500 lb. Do you know of a ford truck or any truck that is rated to haul that much?

Why on this planet would you want that? What a stupid thing to get. Go stay in a motel room, they are bigger.

Some people like to camp out in style. Please, don't be rude to members.

I stopped by the local Ford Dealer and picked up a tow and trailer guide. Found the answer to my question.

Re: 15,500 lb. Fifth Wheel

I just asked why you would want a travel trailer that heavy, and wondered where the sense in it was... nothing wrong with that, as your fuel bill will be more than the price of 5 star accomodation between each destination. Even if you do enjoy that, which is absolutely fine, by the way, there are luxurious travel trailers which weigh a lot less than that.
