I am doing a 460 / C6 swap into my 1977 F150 2WD and the 460 has a two piece drive shaft with a carrier bearing. I have everything I need to finish the swap except for the bracket that holds the carrier bearing to the frame. If anybody has one of these I am looking for a picture and measurements of it so I can fabricate it. I am not having any luck finding one locally. Thanks for any help you can give me.
No the carrier bearing drawings and measurements do not give the dimensions for the actual bracket that the carrier bearing attaches to. (They would help with the attaching holes for the bearing on the bracket though, thanks) But the picture above is close to what the bracket looks like. That is what I am looking to fabricate.
Yep, I think i am there if measurements are right. The thing about the carrier bearing size above helps. I will be checking the bearing itself since the measurements from the bearing book and post are a qtr inch different. Thanks for the help all.
