I have a 1989 Ford F150 4 wheel drive with a 4.9 liter 6 cylinder engine. My problem is the fuel pump is not working, it is not the pump i got it tested. I wanted to try a new fuel relay but I can not find it anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mine went on my truck couple years back, thefonz is right on for location of the relay. Most auto parts stores should carry them, I think mine was around $25. Also check for the fuel kill switch on inside of the firewall under the dash, you might have to reset it. Its got couple of wires up to it with red button.
If it is the same as my 1985, under the hood, facing the front of the truck, right side, to the right of the brake booster, mounted to the firewall. It has a black cover over it about one inch wide and two inches long.
