I am having intermittent problems with my passenger power window.
It stays in the down position, but I can hot wire it to the battery and it will roll up.
Then it seems to work fine for awhile and then will not roll up again. But hotwiring will ALWAYS make it go up.

I have replaced both of the switches that operate this window on both the driver and passenger sides

I have also replaced the breaker that operates both windows (just to be sure)

Also, the driver side window never fails and works properly.

I am lost as to where the problem might be. Even though hotwiring will bring the window up, is it still something with the window motor assembly could still be a problem, or ???

Possibly break in wiring where it passes through into door causing intermittent fault as it makes / breaks contact ?
