1992 F250 with a 1978 460 engine
I've got a 1992 F250 that came with a 460 FI engine. I no longer have the engine. I have a 1978 F350 with a rebuilt 460 carbuerated engine. I'd like to put the 78 460 into the 1992 truck. I want to keep the FI and put headers on the truck. In reading through the forum I've determined that I will need to purchase FI heads to put on the engine.
If my 78 is balanced differently than the stock 92 engine would have been is that any problem. I don't see why it would be.
Also, will the stock 92 engine mounts work, will it still hook up to the stock 92 tranny. Will the air conditioning all hook up, alternator, and everything else.
