That's not EGR - it's 2ndry air. The EGR doesn't use a manifold; just a single pipe going to the EGR valve behind the throttle body. And there's nothing in the 2ndry air manifold that would make noise - it's just a manifold pipe. It can echo as the check valve closes, but that noise would be normal. Try removing the air hose from the check valve - if the valve is puffing, it's bad, and only the valve needs to be replaced.

You can't because it's illegal (regardless of local inspections), and discussing illegal activities is a violation of the user agreement on this BBS (& most others). Deleting or defeating emissions systems is also counterproductive.
