1996 f250 motor swap

i have 1996 f250 with a 351w vin code is "h"
it is my daily driver that gets no less then 100 miles put on it a day.
what would be a good motor swap for it?
i would like more hp/torque and keep fuel injection.
would a late model 5.4 or 4.6 motor be able to work?
or does anyone know where i could a 351w crate motor (without breaking the bank)

Re: 1996 f250 motor swap

There are many build options for the 351w. The easier route would be to keep the motor and rebuild it to the specs you want. If you want one out of the box check this out Ford Performance Engines, Ford Crate Motors, Ford Engines, Ford Motorsports just to let you know they make great engines but you do pay for them.
