1997 F250 7.3l Powerstroke won't start......HELP
I have a 1997 Ford F250 with the 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel in it, with 225,000 and some odd miles. This morning on my way to work, which is about 2 miles down the road, the truck died on me and won't start back. It didn't just quit like you turned off the switch, it died like it was running out of diesel. I have half a tank, so I know I'm not out of diesel. I checked the fuel bowl and it had a little bit in it, but not near as much as it's supposed to have. I have checked the fuel pressure after I tried to start it and it was at 20 PSI. I am BEYOND confused! It has plenty of oil and I filled the bowl up several times now, it still does not wanna crank. It's almost like it's either NOT getting fuel at all, or it is not firing, or whatever you call it in diesel language.....ALL advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am a first time diesel owner, so I am still learning about these things.
