HELLO ALL AND THANKS IN ADVANCE-4-ALL HELP .JUST BOUGHT A 1997 F250 VAN 5.4 L RAN ABOUT 50 MI'S THEN WOULD NOT SPIN WITH KEY.MILES FROM HOME RIGGED A STARTER SOLINOID WIRE TO SPIN IT AND START .AFTER GETTING HOME ,IT STARTED ACTING LIKE "NO SPARK ' JUST WOULD SPIN AND SPIN BUT NOT START .NO MONEY FOR SHOP (SPENT IT TO BUY ) SO WHAT GOES HERE ??? THANKS AGAIN .

I would start with fuel pressure. Hook a guage to the fuel rail and see if you are getting 42PSI or better.

Spark and fuel are two main things to check.

As A Follow Up,i Tried Puting Some Fuel Into The Intake (old Day's Option )and It Still Would Not Run .i Thinking The Control Computer ?

an engine only needs 3 things to run - fuel/air, spark, and compression. theres not any reason you should have lost compression so hook a spark tester up and if you have spark then the fuel is your problem, and if you dont have spark, then there it is.
