reich Registered User Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 3	1998 powerstroke shut down.help Hi to all. I have a 1998 pickup with power stroke that shut down after a while without warning. Have to wait 5min before restart or it wont. Can’t hear the priming pump when does the trouble. Had the engine and fuel tank replaced cost 10000$ for the job. Hope someone knows what the problem is.
