Hi, I'm a 1st time truck/diesel owner. Prior to the F250 I had a Suburban that I knew everything about-did all the work/maintenance on it myself. I know very little about this truck I bought in Sept. 09 and a couple months ago the battery light on the dash started flashing on and off. Recently it started staying on the whole time I'm driving. The oldest of my 2 batteries is only a year 1/2 old. Besides the cruise control occasionally kicking off by it's self, everything runs fine. I'm just wondering if it's some sort of glitch or if there might a problem?

Have you checked the charging voltage? It could be the alternator will need replacing. It should read about 14volts whan running with a good battery.
