Do you notice any wobbling pulleys? For the most part, idler pulleys are common to fail before others. It could be that the new power steering pulley wasn't installed correctly. As the noise went away when you sprayed the PS pulley, that's your culprit. The pulley on my Durango started to squeal about a year ago. I ordered a new pulley (not just a bearing!) but haven't installed it as the squealing went away. The weather here has been fairly mild lately so I'm sure that's the cause of my problem. Not to say that my bearing has fixed itself, as it's still bad, but I'd rather do the replacement during the warmer months.
