Tony Tolle Registered User Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 2	Re: 1999 ford4_450 7.3 disel need help If it will crank but not start , you might have a bad CPS sensor. It is located on the passenger side of the motor next to the crankshaft. I keep a spare CPS in the glovebox as it may go out at anytime.
