I'm getting a multiple creaking noise at low speeds. When I'm breaking medium to hard and accelerating from a stop is the only time it does it. Thought it might be the leaf spring isolators but isn't really a squeaking sound. Looks like the isolators have completely worn off and are no
longer there. I did spray all the areas where the isolators should be with some silicon lubricant but didn't help. I am getting some metal to metal wear where the isolators should be and do need to fix that.
It's only from drivers side front. I checked for loose bolts on the calipers and didn't find anything.
I did have a front end popping sound at low speeds while breaking medium to hard which I think may be ball joints but I can't see any play when prying on the tire. I can't recall hearing the popping sound for a while probably last happened in the the colder months. Maybe it's just the warm weather and my truck getting old. Went from a popping sound to a creaking.
Any ideas on things to check?
Thanks
