My uncle has a 2001 Damon Intruder motorhome with the V10 in it. 52000 km, it started loosing power, had fuel filter changed @ Can. Tire, ran fine for awhile, then started missing and quit. Had it towed to a Ford dealer, they said the fuel pressure was too low so they replaced the fuel pump. It will start but runs very poorly, dealer said no compresion on 6 cylinders, but no smoke. Their story is that it got too hot from lack of fuel and weakend some of the valve springs. This does not make sense to me and I cant look at or listen to it as he is on the east coast and I am on the west coast. Anyone got any ideas????

Their story is odd. How could it have been running fine after a new fuel filter and then all of a sudden a bunch of cyinders have "no" compression? Furthermore if it overheated there would have been indicator lights,check engine lights and possably engine noise to alert the driver.He would definately be aware if it overheated to the extent that springs lost their temper. Those springs would still be able to function IMO.
Did they recheck the fuel pressure and was it within specs?

I think I would take it somewhere else for a second opinion.

I agree. Take it to another dealer. He can also have Autozone pull codes for free, then post the results here and we can see if we can tell what's up.
