I recently bought a used, 2002 f250 SD. The airbag warning light has come on and will not shut off. The limited (worthless) warranty I have on the truck
will not cover the cost to have it fixed. Because it isnt "drivetrain related". I
have checked the airbag system fuse and it is good. Any ideas on what could cause this would be helpful. It doesnt blink, or anything, just comes on and stays on. Thanks.

I had the same issue on my 97 F-250. It ended up replacing the airbag sensor behind the front grill.

The dealer I bought the truck from put it on a scanner. They said it is the airbag modual itself that is bad. I dont really trust them, Im going to get a second opinion.
