I have a 2003 F-350 6.0L Super Duty. I've been having some issues with braking. Sometimes, while pressing on the brake pedel the stearing wheel and vechile shakes(sometimes pretty bad). This doesn't happen all the time. I can get it do do it when i come to a pretty quick stop and on down hill slow-downs. Does anyone have a reason this is happening? What can i check \ do to make this stop.

Take the tires off, more than likely its the front causing the problems. Check everything out 1st just by looking at it. Make sure the brake line on either side are in good shape. If everything looks ok, then this is what I did.. Go to Autozone and buy new rotors and brake pads. I think total was $140 for my F-350 2002 CrewCab. if that doesn't solve it, then its possible that you have a brake line or caliper that is cavitating and that's not good. But first do some checking around by taking the tires off and inspecting both sides!

have rotors checked at some place that turns them----they may be wraped--if not most places will true them for $20.00-$30.00, replace pads--next check play in wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, pitman arm and drag link--any play at all in these parts is too much--believe this will cure your problem--bob
