I am a somewhat new owner of a 2004 F250 with a V10 (best truck I've owned so far). When I purchased the truck I didnt get key fobs with it. I read somewhere on-line that all of these vehicles came equiped with the keyless entry function, and that the keypad was an option. Anyone know if this is true? Also if my truck does have the keyless entry how do I program it? Thanks in advance for the help.

OK. First the fobs.....................

You can purchase new fobs and program them yourself by getting in the truck, lock the doors, turn the key from off to on 8 times within 10 seconds stopping in the on position. You should hear the locks cycle telling you that programming is ready. When the locks cycle, press any button on the first fob, then second fob, then any other fob. Turn the key off and the locks will cycle again confirming programming. You may have to try the key cycle thing several times to get it right. Too fast or too slow and it wont work.


Now the keypad...........

You can take it to a Dealer and they can program the fobs and get your pad code all at once, but it will cost you.

Look in the owner's manual very carefully for the keypad code. If it is not there, then crawl up under the dash on the driver's side and look for a grey or black box that would have a label with the code on it.
