2004 f350 cold start

have 04 f350 6.0 powerstroke, on initial start fires then dies 1 to 2 times. then starts but has a hard lope to it till it levels out a few minutes later. anybody have similar trouble/ suggestions. thinking either glow plugs or injectors but unsure.

Re: 2004 f350 cold start

As you mentioned glow plugs, I gather that it's cold out when this happens? If so, do you use a block heater over night?
