Re: 2005 F-150 Question

Most truck owners start with an aftermarket air intake system and then they upgrade the exhaust with aftermarket systems readily available by numerous companies.

If that does not please them, they will then look into performance chips (if available) and even after all that they realize they should have bought a diesel to begin with because the Triton V-8 has no balls

Re: 2005 F-150 Question

I dont know if I would say the 5.4 doesnt have any balls. I have an 05 F250 that I pull a gooseneck trailer and a smaller car trailer with. The big trailer weighs in around 10,000 and the smaller one around 7000. Its made 1600 mile trips with these trailers and does fine.

A diesel of course has more power in the pulling department but I would say the 5.4 does quite well for what it is. An F150 with a 5.4 has plenty of power for that size truck.
