2005 FX4 transmission problem

Hi guys I'm new to this forum, but am usually on iboats this is the first time Ive had a problem with my truck. Long story short I got off work and pulled onto the freeway with no problems got up to about 60 slowed down to make a U turn about 5mph went to give it gas and it would no go anywhere just revved the engine. I checked the fluid it is good, I got under the truck and made sure the shift linkage was moving and it was. Truck will go in reverse but will not go into drive,1,2 and my four wheel drive is not working. The transmission did not make any noise or anything and did not shutter. What could this be? I was thinking maybe some type of sensor or fuse. Any input would be great, thanks in advance. And another thing the truck it not throwing any type of check engine light or code.

Re: 2005 FX4 transmission problem

Look at your OD control button area.
Is the lamp flashing?
If yes, there should be a code indicating the area the PCM detects an issue with.
The PCM controls all forward transmission motion but the reverse is still mechanical.
My guess it the pressure control valve is not being opened to supply fluid to any of the forward control fuctions.
There could also be a blown fuse.
Good luck.
