I was 4 wheelin and ran a rock thru my plastic gas tank. I ordered a new tank. Got the old one off. I'm not sure how to extract the fuel pump as it is attached to the bottom of the gas tank? This is a Super Duty 4x4 extra cab, short box which has just one tank.

I can't feel any brackets or anything in there. Maybe its a formed bracket that the pump just sits in? Wanted to check before I break something....that was not needing to be broken....

figured it out....two ears stick up on the outer rim of the fuel pump that have to be pinched inward which frees the pump out of a bracket that IS GLUED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. Good thing I didn't force that too much...
