I have a 2009 F150 FX4 with about 12,000 miles on it and yesterday I noticed the front airbag icon was lit on the dash, I also had the front passenger air bag on telling me its not active.

I use the seat beat extenders and when I removed the passenger one, the passenger air bag not active light went out.

It hadn't come on before this though.

Any idea's?

Is the seatbelt Flashing or on all the time?? check the Connection under the seat.

Its the airbag icon that is lit, not flashing, just steady.
I'll check connections though, thanks.

The disabled (?) icon that lights up when the passenger airbag is not operation is steady also.
Not sure if that's describing it well enough..

I finally got around to checking all the connections, all looked good.
While getting my oil changed at the Ford dealer I mention the light.

They spent a few hours looking and finally ended up replacing the computer board and reprogaming it, light gone. :)

Found out warrt covered it...whew!
