Hello,

My Wife and I have just purchased two 2012 F150 STX pickups. We were interested in taking advantage of the six week or six month trial of Sirius Sat Radio. The radios, in the trucks both have a Sirius button, but when pressed, it displays: "No Satellite"

I'm trying to determine if the radio is "Satellite Ready", or will we need to purchase one of the stand alone receivers that sets on the dash or in a cradle?

I found on Amazon, a unit that says its for a "Sat Ready" radio, but I'm new to this and not sure if this will work with our radios.

If anyone has experience with this issue, I would appreciate some advice. Thank you in advance.

If no one else has any more info, you might want to ask the dealer about it. We bought our Pontiac used and our XM was in trial mode when we picked it up.

The "No Satellite" might be because the antennae is blocked. We have a lot of trees around our house that blocks the signal, that might be the reason for your message.
