351 cleveland 4 speed standard new process
ALRIGHTY i need an expert uhm... i have a 351 cleveland in my 1976 Ford F-150 and i am rebuilding it and such. I have a bellhousing issue. I mickey moused it because the bar that was used as the clutched in the previous assembily was rod like the origonal fords have right it broke so i bought a hydraulic setup a long time ago i had a piece of angle iron on the bottom of the bellhousing coming up to the shifting fork and thats where the hydralic sat on to push the fork and i had to reinforce the firewall for this but i have a new cab now and i was wondering if i could somehow find a different bellhousing for an INTERNAL clutch setup inside the bellhousing my transmission is a new process. I need this setup i dont care if i need to find a new bellhousing but i dont know what years i can go up too with the bolt pattern for an internal setup. i think the 78 cobras had the internal clutch setup but my tranny is a standard 4 speed so i was wondering what common car i might be able to find this bellhousing that has the internal clutch setup in. I dont want to MAKE a bracket that goes around the origonal bellhousing or mickey mouse it like i did. PLEASE let me know! thanks
