390 in an 83?
Hi everybody. Looks like you got a great site here! Wondering if someone can help me. Found an 83 f250 2wd 4 spd with a blown engine (not sure which engine. any help to identify would be handy as well. VIN doesn't seem to be on driver's door) I have a 70 f100 3spd 2wd with a 390. Body is shot, bad clutch, no PS or PB. You can probably see where i'm going here. Can i shoehorn that ole 390 into the 83 without too much difficulty or should i just keep lookin for a pre-77 that it will fit into.
