ANY BODY HAVE ANY IDEAS!
I Own A 2000 F150 W/4.6 . The First Eighty Five Thousand Or So Was Flawless, Since Then I Have Put Five Coils On This Truck ,two Of Then Since I Replaced All Eight About A Year Ago With After Market Ones And I Have Another Miss And I Believe It's A Coil Also. Would There Be Any Reason For The String Of Bad Coils ?????????

first of all like in house electic take shortest wasyto ground . and either buy napa coils or ford ones there is a diff in quaity in coils. so if plugs arent good your going to burn them out use the slicone ment for coating the plugs where the boot slips on and make sure you neversigze on the threads of the plugs and make sure you tourqe them or you be in real trouble ( do a search of story of ford plugs blowing out of heads ) another word is the spark cant gt to tip of plug or plug is fouled to age of engine the spark is going to burn the coil out . like a dist with a rotor button if a wire was bad a rotor button would burn out

I replaced my second one recently within 4k miles. Two different cylinders number 3 and number 5.
