Re: 5.4 f-150 exhaust
I have a '01 that I did the same to. The right manifold rusted through. I ended up going with the Pacesetter full length headers, and one universal cat per side. The only downside was that I had to heat up the left header tube and dent it in a little to make it clear my front driveshaft. It really gave the truck a lot more power. The scrapyard basically paid for my parts by buying my old crossover with stock cats. The headers ran me $285 and the 2 cats were $55 each. The cats sold for $375, and after I put the headers on, I had another $110 in custom piping done by a local shop. I already had a Y-pipe from where the muffler was cut out after I first got the truck. They just cut the Y out and tied into the rear pipes.
