Trash Master Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 7	6.0 EGR cooler How easy is it to replace a EGR cooler? Do you need to remove the turbo? Thank you for any knowledge on this.

crcharters Registered User Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 2	Re: 6.0 EGR cooler Yes you do also look into a egr cooler from BD Diesel(if your not in California)After I replaced my 3rd cooler I went with there's it's closed off so no coolant passes through also they claim that the oil cooler should be replaced also. Ford claims that the oil cooler being plugged causes the egr to super heat and melt the joints causing it to leak
