6.0 trouble - what's Ford's position?
I have an '04 F350 with a 6.0. Having constant EGR issues, had warranty service done in 3 different dealerships in 60 days and have since gone out of warranty. Now having another issue, yet to be determined, as I can't get the truck into the shop for another week due to dealer backlogs. During my recent breakdowns, I have had to stay in hotels for about 8 days, rent cars to get around, and have been down from generating income for that time, as well...all the while, having to pay an employee to sit on his A** waiting for repairs. Any ideas on how to obtain some kind of retribution from Ford? Oh, yeah...I and members of my family are former Ford employees and used Ford dealers!! Ford customer service has more or less told me they will do nothing!!! Great support, huh?
