6.2L in Super Duty - Thoughts/Experiences

Considering a 2012 F250 with the 6.2L gasser. Appreciate feedback from people with who have them. How many miles and what kind of mpg are you getting?

Re: 6.2L in Super Duty - Thoughts/Experiences

I'm in the same boat. I have it narrowed down to replacing my older plow truck with either an F250 or GM 2500 gas. Motortrend tested both a while back and both ran 12-13mpg empty in combined driving. With the equipment on the truck I'm thinking 9-10mpg overall on a good day. Dealer still hasn't phoned to let me know they have a gas model in. So far they've just been ordering in diesels (higher profit margin...).
