7.3 f250 engine cuts out while driving ..most times it it kicks straight back in again but sometimes you have to switch the ignition off and back on again for it to keep running... its a manual....it has also just started having very little power under 2000 rpm but when it gets to two grand it goes like a rocket

had 2 here in australia simialar problems it turned out to be the pressure control solinord on the side of the fuel control unit.had to replace it.

Sounds like he is talking about the fuel pressure regulator. It is on the right hand side of the fuel bowl looking toward the firewall. Personally, I would post your problem on one of the diesel forums. Ford truck enthusiasts and Diesel stop.com are two popular ones. You may want to describe your problem a little better to get more help.

90% of the time that is caused by your CPS (Camshaft Position Sensor).

Its about $50 and is one 10mm bolt to replace. Easy as pie.
